Offline Seminar Update – So Far So Good!

Hope you all had a great weekend,

It was a scorcher in the UK and still is which isn’t making the office the best place to be at the minute. But as I am the boss I can ake the afternoon off, hehe, the joys of being a BOSS!

Ok, I am still waiting on a copy of the YP so I can hand pick my seminar attendees and do not want to sell this until I have that. However, I have been running some online classified advertising and at this point have 5 confirmed attendees, SUCCESS! I haven’t hads to do much exxcept answer the emails I have recieved and call up a few biz owners that had enquired.I am looking for around 28 attendees in total.

Now I have changed something up a little here as I have decided to cut out the deposit up front model for attendees. So this iss 100% free. The way I am doing the seminar is making it a little difficult to collect payments for deposits so what I am going to do is generate more than 28 seats, so I have a waiting list. Call all attendees 48 hours before to confirm and then if any drop out I have a waiting list to fall back on. I am also making sure I tell all attendees I already have a waiting list. This adds more vaalue to the seat and also shows that I have other business owners (maybe competitors) waiting in the wings for a spot!

This seems to be working ok at the minute. I will only know as time goes on if this is a good tactic and the best way to do it but I will have the place filled and if it is a success then I have opportunities to take this nationwide! ; ) Thats it for now, I am waiting on the YP and then I can really hit this, I think with my phone experience I could fill this within a few days but we  will see!
